As part of the bi-monthly ScotSurplus Public Sale on April 18 from 8 am to 4 pm, Campus Business Services is hosting their Spring Campus E-Waste and Shredding Event at the ScotSurplus retail location.
UCR faculty, staff, and students are invited to bring old cell phones, laptops, monitors, printers, video equipment, computer accessories, small kitchen appliances, UPS/laptop, desktops, cameras, iPods, iPads, and more. They can also bring any documents requiring secure shredding.
The items can belong to an individual or UCR department. The services are being provided by CEWS Corporate eWaste Solutions.
Participants will also receive a $5 off coupon for the next ScotSurplus sale on May 2!
ScotSurplus is home to an eclectic assortment of used (but still useable) furniture, electronics, office supplies, clothing, books, bikes, lab supplies, and much more — collected from departments from every corner of the university.
