Because you are booking a Passport Application appointment, a deposit is required to proceed.

The deposit will be applied to your Execution Fees and will be refunded if you cancel your appointment more than 24 hours before it is scheduled to begin. Appointments canceled within 24 hours of their appointment time will not receive a refund on their deposits.
